Happy Birthday, IvyWise Blog!
One year ago today, we launched the IvyWise blog. We wanted the blog to be a free and accessible way to share expert information about the college admissions process with students and their families. Our IvyWise staff and counselors have truly enjoyed contributing to the blog and we hope that you enjoy reading it. In honor of our first birthday, we thought we’d take a look at some of the topics we’ve covered in the past year, and hope that you will tell us what you want to see from us in the year to come.
Between June 22, 2011 and June 22, 2012, we published 57 articles. Our most popular posts were College Acceptance Rates for the Class of 2016 and Quirky College Admissions Essays. We’ve told you about standardized tests, course planning, college visits, college rankings, the Ivy League, preparing for the college transition, and the transfer admissions process.
Dr. Kat has shared her list of schools for East Asian Studies, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Awesome Archives, and Aspiring Entrepreneurs. Our team members shared why schools like Barnard College, Lehigh University, Emerson College, and Washington University in St. Louis were the best-fit schools for them. Our counselors shared their best advice for students embarking on the college admissions process, and a former IvyWise student shared her experiences with IvyWise. Now it’s your turn to share with us – help us help you – tell us what topics you want to read about, submit questions to our expert counselors and tutors, or share your own college admissions stories with us.
