Weekly NewsThe admissions landscape is always changing, and here at IvyWise we like to keep families informed on the latest news in college admissions and higher education. Check out some of the biggest stories in higher education from this past week:  

  • The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) site edX announced the addition of 15 new affiliated universities from across the globe, six of which are in Asia.

  • Reed College in Portland, Oregon eliminated their application fee this week in the hopes of attracting more low-income and first generation applicants to the academically rigorous school.

  • Dr. Kat discusses social media’s role in the college admissions process in the Huffington Post!
