The second week of July is coming to a close, and while everyone enjoyed a short week last week for the US holiday, it’s time for rising high school seniors to get serious about the college admissions process.  

The Common Application doesn't open until Aug. 1, but the Universal College Application and several individual college applications are already open, giving students the opportunity to get a head start on their essays this summer.
